The Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Association is a not for profit 501(c) (3) organization
formed in 1996 to provide information, support and advocacy to patients, their families and medical
providers. It's headquarters are located in Morristown, NJ.
The Anthony Bates Foundation
The Anthony Bates Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization dedicated
to save young lives through early detection of Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. The Anthony Bates Foundation is actively
promoting public outreach programs through training and education of heart screening events. The ABF goals are to promote
heart health education and awareness of HCM. The ABF headquarters are located in Phoenix, AZ.
Kids Endangered Now (KEN) Heart Association
The KEN Heart Association is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization based in Geneva,
Ohio. KEN Heart Association is educating parents, student athletes, schools and athletic programs to
- warning signs of a possible cardiac defect
- the cardiac prescreening questionnaire
- make EKGs and Echocardiograms more affordable for student athletes
- Promote the placement of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) in athletic arenas
and other areas of physical activity
- Implement the Chain of Survival training to any youth athletic program.
- Raise awareness of the benefits
of creating a national registry for sudden cardiac arrest causing injury and death to young people.
Greg W. Moyer Defibrillator Fund
The Greg W. Moyer Defibrillator Fund is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization whose goals include:
- Donate AEDs to schools, emergency service organizations, and places of public gathering in the region
- Assist organizations wishing to purchase AEDs
- Educate the general public on the simplicity and critical nature of AEDs
- Facilitate training on CPR and the use of AEDs
- Encourage and support state and Federal legislation pointed at the placement of AEDs in schools and other public facilities
The Greg W. Moyer Defibrillator Fund's headquarters are located in Shawnee-on-the-Delaware, PA.
Louis T. Savino III Foundation
The Louis Savino Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization dedicated to increasing awareness of HCM and preventing
sudden cardiac death in high school athletes.
The foundation's vision is to
• Educate coaches, trainers, parents and student athletes in terms of the warning signs of potentially fatal
heart disease.
• Utilize funding to provide Automatic External Defibrillators (AED's) to schools, sports terms and athletic
associations and to provide for the necessary life-saving training that could potentially prevent sudden cardiac death from
occurring.
• To strive for the screening of high school athletes for heart disorders before they begin participating
in sports programs each year.
• Work for the revision and standardization of statewide pre-participation physical examination forms and
procedures.

Heartfelt Cardiac Projects is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit California Public Benefit Corporation dedicated
to saving young lives from sudden cardiac death through early detection and increased public awareness. Parent Heart
Watch member Holly Morrell is Executive Director.
The Chad Foundation For Athletes and Artists,
a nonprofit, charitable organization whose mission is to inspire youth to live as Chad did - vibrantly and generously, without
substance abuse. Our immediate goal is to promote early diagnosis of heart disease and heart muscle abnormalities, so
that sudden heart failure can be prevented and the condition be treated if found.
Sudden Cardiac Arrest Association
The Sudden Cardiac Arrest Association (SCAA) is an organization singularly
focused on sudden cardiac arrest. SCAA identifies and unites survivors, those at risk of sudden cardiac arrest, as well
as others who are interested in being advocates on SCAA issues in their communities and beyond.

Safe Kids Worldwide is a global network of organizations whose mission is to prevent
accidental childhood injury, a leading killer of children 14 and under.

The Sudden Arrhythmia Death Syndromes
(SADS) Foundation is a leader in education, research and advocacy for families and individuals at risk for cardiac arrhythmias
that can cause sudden death in young people.
Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation
The Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) Foundation was established to meet the need
for an easily accessible, objective, comprehensive information clearinghouse on the prevention of death and disability due
to SCA. The Foundation is national in focus and global in reach.
Teams of Angels is a Not for Profit 501 (c) (3) organization that was founded in
April 2002. It's mission is to work "For A Safer Youth Sports Experience".
Youth Heart Watch
The mission of Youth Heart Watch is to prevent sudden cardiac death
among children and adolescents by placing automated external defibrillators (AEDs) in schools, recreation centers and other public places.
European Organizations
Sudden Cardiac Death (in the young) Support Group
The group was set up in 2006 in association with the Irish Heart Foundation
and grew from the friendship of parents who suffered the loss of a young person to sudden cardiac death.
STARS
STARS is located in the United Kingdom and provides information and
support for those suffering from Syncope, Reflex Anoxic Seizures, Blackouts and unexplained loss of consciousness
Arrhythmia Alliance
Arrhythmia Alliance (A-A) (located in the United Kingdom) is a coalition
of individuals, patients groups, charities, professional medical groups and industry allies. These groups work together under the Arrhythmia Alliance umbrella to raise
awareness of cardiac arrhythmias and to promote timely and effective diagnosis and treatment of arrhythmias leading to an
improved quality of life.
