Advocacy Efforts in Delaware and Nationally
Since its inception, The Matthew Krug Foundation has advocated for AEDs in all
Delaware schools. To meet that end result, we have formed relationships with the school districts, the Delaware
Office of EMS, the American Red Cross of Delmarva, the American Heart Association, and Youth Heart Watch. Locally, we
also are members of the Wilmington Health Planning Council, and Safe Kids Delaware.
For the national effort, we have affliated with Parent Heart Watch, our national
organization. Stewart Krug of the Matthew Krug Foundation is on the Board of Directors of Parent Heart Watch.
Additionally, we are an ambassador for the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Association, and
a member of the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Association.
Matthew Krug Foundation Donations of AEDs and Accessories
As part of our mission, and as funds are available, The Matthew Krug Foundation
will make donations of AEDs and or accessories to selected organizations that provide services to young people.
By making these donations, the Foundation will help to protect our youth from sudden cardiac arrest and to plant seeds for
other similar organizations to consider obtaining an AED.
